The tickets for the 20th BLACK & BLUE anniversary will go sale this weekend

The Black & Blue team is working on the 20th edition of the Festival, which will take place in Montreal from October 6 to 12. The main event at « Palais des congrès de Montréal » will be attended by thousands of participants on 10/10/10 !

The event will take a look back on its 20 years of existence, while looking also at the bright future ahead.

Two rooms will feature a choice of music (house and trance), this year, to please a wider and diversified local and international clientele. It is confirmed that the world renowned Mark Anthony, one of the DJs responsible for the Black & Blue's success over the years, will spin in the house room. The trance room will feature ALY & FILA from Egypt, as well as the Australian singer EMMA HEWITT. Other names will be announced in the upcoming months.

The Foundation, a non-profit organization involved in organizing events since 1991, takes one particular cause to heart, namely aiding individuals living with HIV /AIDS, an aspect that will not be neglected during the event. Widely recognized for its original artistic concepts, this year's Black & Blue Festival will showcase a concept developed in collaboration with lighting design expert François Roupinian of Lightemotion. As lighting is one of the key components of the event, BBCM continues to explore this facet with a view to ensuring use of the very latest in lighting technology. Back once again for 2010 are technical director Sylvain Tessier and sound expert Éric Tourangeau who has brilliantly orchestrated all sound-related aspects of nearly every Black & Blue event from the outset. The main Black & Blue evening event will include a block-buster show segment, as well as theme-based entertainment.

The Black & Blue Party was the first event of its kind to take place in Montreal back in 1991. Since then, it has grown and rapidly became one of the leading events on the planet and an inspiring influence for all future promoters. The Black & Blue has been awarded some prizes abroad and has been attended by international stars during their stay in Montréal.

Since 1991, the BBCM team has organized thousands of events. This year's official Festival program lineup will run from October 6th to 12th and will include the ever popular Leather Ball (Friday, October 8th), Military Ball (Saturday, October 9th) and Recovery Party (Monday, October 11th), in addition to a host of other activities in Village area clubs.
